Being sold due to advancing years and ill health.
Vendor states:
For a few years around 1930 regional newspapers owned by the Northcliffe Group used custom built Austin Seven vans to deliver each edition of the paper, just a couple of photographs and none of the original vans survive.
My van was constructed as a replica based on these photographs and is built on a 1930 Austin Seven chassis with period correct components.
A full photographic record of its construction was made.
It is correctly registered as a van with the DVLA and permission was obtained from the Kent Messenger Group to use their livery.
The van has been featured in the A7CA grey magazine, Old Glory Magazine and the Kent Messenger itself.
