• The eighth generation of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution was introduced in 2003 and featured 17-inch Enkei wheels, Brembo brakes, Bilstein shocks and a five-speed gearbox
• The VIII was the very first Evo model to have full UK factory approval and they were offered in a number of editions - the 260, FQ-300, FQ-320, FQ-340 and FQ-400 - with the final number corresponding roughly to the power output
