We are very pleased to bring to market this British sports car, which is the mainstay of historic motoring. This example looks great in its classic colour combination of Brooklands Green with black interior. Originally a red LHD model, we understand the MG was imported from California to the UK in 1992 (hence the date of registration of 1992 stated in the V5c). The build date of July 1975 at Abingdon, as they all were, is confirmed by a Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate.
Bills and invoices back to the 1990s are in the file showing that much money has been spent on the upkeep and maintenance since it was repatriated back to the UK. The latest from July 2025 shows that it had a tune up, rocker box cover gasket and bushes as well as balancing the carbs, and it has done little miles since. A really nice touch is the fresh MOT carried out in early June, even though it is exempt, showing it has come from good ownership and inspires confidence. This follows on that it still has its spare keys. The B has had a number of upgrades over the years including a twin pipe sports exhaust, wood dash, chrome wheel embellishers, and larger HS6 carbs with K & N filters.
The MG is HPi clear and is offered complete with a V5C. The hood would appear to be new and fits well, and it is very tidy under the bonnet with many new parts including struts - all good things to have. In summary, a really usable and attractive sports car with a sensible estimate and ready be enjoyed.
