Powered by its original Pontiac 400 V8 engine, this Firebird has benefited from substantial mechanical upgrades and restoration work over recent years.

Engine upgrades include:

• Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminium cylinder heads
• Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminium intake manifold
• Edelbrock Performer RPM camshaft package
• Summit 750 CFM electric choke carburettor
• Summit hardened pushrods and roller-tip rocker arms
• Ceramic-coated 4-into-1 performance headers
• HEI electronic ignition distributor
• Performance air cleaner assembly
• Chrome rocker covers
• New fuel pump
• Fuel cell/race-style fuel tank fitted in the boot
• Complete top-end rebuild and gasket set

Over $6,000 of performance parts were supplied by Summit Racing USA, with supporting invoices available.

The body is relatively rust-free by Firebird standards and presents well overall. The paintwork is serviceable and presentable but would generally be described as average rather than concours.
