This lovely MG Midget finished in rare Chartreuse Yellow had a comprehensive rebuild in the 1990s. It was owned by the same gentleman for 30 years where he replaced many panels, upgraded the interior and had a full respray. It has only travelled about 200 miles each year as documented in the MOT history.

Within the last year the car has had £1,000 spent on full service (including the carburettor), new clutch master and slave cylinders. It runs very well indeed, no issues with synchromesh between 1st and 2nd gear which is a common fault on these cars.

All of the usual Midget rust areas are completely rust and rot free….. the door bottoms, bottom of “A” panels, wings, boot lid are all sound. It is nice and clean underneath, the engine bay is a lovely sight.

The bodywork is in very good, paintwork has a superb finish with the exception of a few small dents and stone chips but this does not detract from the overall beauty of this outstanding car. It has a black double duck hood, luggage rack and re-trimmed black seats with yellow piping and half tonneau cover.

There is an accompanying comprehensive history folder of all parts purchased and work completed. It has historic status without the requirement to have an MOT, zero road tax and ULEZ exempt.
