The AJS 16MS is a classic 350cc British motorcycle produced by Associated Motorcycles from 1949 to 1963, featuring a single-cylinder OHV engine and a ‘spring-frame’ (swinging-arm) rear suspension. Known as a reliable, economical ‘gentleman’s’ machine, it was a popular everyday commuter and club-run bike based on the military Matchless G3/L design.
This very well cared for machine has come to us running, riding and ready to go. The vendor has listed a little about the bike including some recent parts fitted:
“The machine has had full oil change engine / primary / gearbox / forks, oil tank / filter cleaned out, recent points / condenser / coil, new tyres / mudguards, new fuel tank, new saddle / brake / clutch levers, new competition silencer. Runs well no problems and is charging an easy starter and a joy to ride.”
Included in the sale is all the road mudguards, tank, headlight and seat with a box of spares.
