Here we have a nice example of this great starter classic. Recently purchased as a project, the current owner has had it running.

Debuted at the 1950 Utrecht Fair, the Cyclemaster provided a simple, low‑cost way to motorise a bicycle. Made by EMI in Hayes, Middlesex, it was marketed in Britain from 1950 to 1960 and originally sold as a self‑contained rear‑wheel unit. It featured a drum‑mounted 25cc (later 32cc) two‑stroke engine with clutch drive and a fuel tank mounted behind.

This is fully registered with a new V5C and is in fair condition for a 74 year-old machine. The tyres stay inflated and the bike rides well, just needs a little more TLC and cleaning. There is also another complete engine, but the condition is unknown. This would be a great addition to any mancave or just to pop down the local shop.
