The S207 represented the pinnacle of Subaru Tecnica International's development of the EJ20 powered WRX STI. Developed using knowledge gained from Subaru's Nürburgring 24 Hour programme, the S207 was produced exclusively for the Japanese market and limited to just 400 examples, making it one of the most sought after modern STIs.

Of those 400 cars, only 200 were specified with the desirable NBR Challenge Package, celebrating Subaru's success at the Nürburgring 24 Hour race. The package added a dry carbon fibre rear spoiler, forged BBS alloy wheels, Ultrasuede steering wheel with centre marker, red seat belts and Nürburgring specific detailing. Just 100 examples were finished in the exclusive Sunrise Yellow paintwork offered here, with this particular car believed to be the only example currently in the UK.

Power comes from Subaru's legendary EJ20, developed here to its ultimate factory specification. Each engine was carefully balanced by STI before being fitted with a twin-scroll ball bearing turbocharger, revised ECU calibration and STI developed intake system, producing 328bhp at 7,200rpm and 431Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through Subaru's renowned symmetrical all-wheel drive system, complemented by a quick-ratio steering rack, Active Torque Vectoring and revised Vehicle Dynamics Control, resulting in a car that remains one of the sharpest and most engaging road-going STIs ever produced.

The chassis received the same attention to detail, with STI tuned Bilstein DampMatic II suspension, flexible chassis braces, strengthened suspension components and substantial Brembo brakes with 6-pot front and 4-pot rear calipers. Completing the package are lightweight 19-inch forged BBS wheels, whilst the aggressive exterior is further distinguished by its unique front grille, STI body styling, carbon fibre rear spoiler and exclusive Yellow Edition detailing.

Inside, the cabin reflects the S207's flagship status with heated STI Recaro bucket seats trimmed in black semi-aniline leather, exclusive S207 instrumentation, carbon fibre trim, Ultrasuede steering wheel and the factory numbered S207 plaque mounted within the centre console.

Imported to the UK in January 2026, the car has covered approximately 200 miles since arrival and remains completely standard throughout. It has recently undergone a major service by Roger Clark Motorsport and is accompanied by a full-service history. Finished in outstanding condition throughout, it is offered with registration number S77 NBR.

Rarely does the opportunity arise to acquire one of Subaru's most sought-after modern performance models, particularly in this specification. Combining exceptional rarity, factory STI engineering and the final evolution of the legendary EJ20 engine, this remarkable S207 represents an outstanding opportunity for the serious JDM enthusiast or collector.
