This lovely Triumph TR6 has been in the same family ownership since 1994 and very much enjoyed. However, as age plays a part, it is now time for it to be enjoyed by another family all over again. The current father-daughter ownership ‘team’ have spent many hours enjoying the Triumph and looking after it with the help of a local garage.

One look will tell you how much time and love they have invested in their beloved TR over this period. We can’t tell you that it’s perfect, but it is very pretty and really suits the wire wheels it is currently sitting on. In fact, when it drove in to our auction rooms here in Cheshire, it caused a bit of a stir.

You may choose not to, but a little time spent tidying up will reward you with a very nice example. You may also just enjoy it as it is, either way it’s not wrong. The TR6 comes with a few invoices and receipts and has been looked after by the same garage for many years. The vendor tells us that there are a lot more invoices within their possession somewhere, but they can’t currently put their hands on them. It does have a clear HPI certificate and old-style V5.

It is worth noting that this is a CP chassis numbered example and therefore benefits from the earlier 150 bhp engine with fuel injection, which has a lovely exhaust note as a driver or passenger. It appears to be an original UK supplied example, but please carry out your own checks to satisfy yourself. This little red beauty also comes with a hard top, although it hasn’t been used for many years. Then again why would you, it’s a convertible!
