The 1986 Yamaha YZ250S was a significant redesign, featuring a new, stiffer frame with improved ergonomics, a 249cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke engine, and a new ‘bottom link’ Monocross rear suspension. Known for its slim profile, it produced approximately 47.3 HP, weighed 212.7 lbs (dry), and featured front disc and rear drum brakes.

This bike has been offered to us by a private vendor who has a couple of bikes in the Auction. It has been fully restored and recommissioned, and is in full running order. The engine has had piston and top end, as well as having the carb cleaned and new reeds fitted. The suspension has been serviced and the whole bike gone over and refreshed into its stunning condition today.
