The Harley-Davidson WLC is a rugged 739 cc, side-valve V-twin motorcycle built specifically for the Canadian military during World War II. It differs from the standard US WLA model by featuring a heavier-duty fork, unique blackout lights, a left-hand throttle, and specialized interchangeable front and rear wheels. Some 20,000 WLCs were produced in 1942 and 1943, and are marked 42WLC or 43WLC.
This bike has come from a private vendor who has a couple of bikes in with us currently. He has owned it for a few years and has informed us that it was fully running when it was put into storage but that was a couple of years ago so it will require a bit of recommissioning if it was going to be ridden again. It comes with full UK V5 and is clear on HPi.
