The BMW R100GS Paris-Dakar (PD) is an iconic adventure-touring motorcycle celebrated for its rugged endurance and classic air-cooled ‘Airhead’ boxer engine. It was specifically designed to handle long-distance, off-road travel, inspired by BMW's success in the gruelling Paris-Dakar Rally.
This original 1990 example is one of the most sought-after classic adventure motorcycles ever built and starts, runs, and rides as it should. The bike is supplied with 3 keys, a clear HPi report and a good history file. The bike has the original ‘suicide’ stand included but the vendor has added a ‘manual’ stand. As an added bonus and quite rare to see, the bike also retains the original tool roll. We have been advised the speedometer has recently stopped working.
