The Honda MT125R was a purpose-built, production Grand Prix motorcycle racing road racer designed for closed-course competition. Produced by the Honda Racing Service Centre (RSC) - the predecessor to modern-day HRC - it served as an affordable, entry-level machine that helped launch the careers of legendary Grand Prix riders and dominated club-level racing in the late 1970s.
This lightweight classic racer (roughly 77kg) is presented beautifully, the chassis has been well maintained and with a decent spares package would make a great first race bike or classic parade bike. We have been supplied with a data sheet with setup information. The bike has a hand crafted aluminium fuel tank along with an oversized radiator. It comes with aftermarket rear shocks fitted plus a spare set. Other spares include front forks, radiator, hoses, tyre, yoke, caliper with pads, various gaskets, chains, clutch, oil, pistons, plugs and a seat pad. This bike can be a very competitive and capable machine in the right hands.
