- V5C Registration Document on file
First registered in the UK on 1st March 2003, this Mercedes-Benz SL500 had formed part of a little private collection of German cars that also included the Kleemann, an SLK32 and a BMW 5 Series. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic with Black/Anthracite leather upholstery, the SL500 is presented in good overall condition. Well-equipped as you would expect from a flagship Mercedes-Benz Roadster, the specification includes 5-Speed automatic transmission, air-conditioning, Parktronic system, ABC (Active Body Control suspension), Bi-Xenon headlamps, alloy wheels, cruise control, power-steering, heated seats and electrically adjustable seats.
The vendor states that the car ‘runs and drives well, with both the folding roof and the variable suspension system operating correctly’. Noted imperfections include wear to the driver's seat bolster and chrome door handles, together with a paint chip on the nearside pillar and a scratch on the bumper, as shown in the website photographs.
The car has had three former keepers and is supplied with its V5 registration document, although no additional service history or maintenance records are available. The vendor had only recently acquired the car, with just the V5C registration document accompanying the vehicle. As a result, it is being offered at ‘no reserve’. An enticing proposition to acquire such a sought-after Mercedes-Benz.
