Have a quick online search for Wheeler Dealers Series 18 Episode 10 and you will see this very example in the WD team’s capable hands. The current owner purchased the VW on the show and has used it on very few occasions since then. Its condition remains largely unchanged, and we have a list of the work carried out on this very pretty Corrado G60 through the show.

Two years prior to the Wheeler Dealers work the Corrado had a full strip down and repaint, retaining its original Aqua Blue Pearl colour, to a very high standard.

The engine was fully overhauled around 50,000 miles ago and had updated Jaba sport ported and flowed cylinder head, the bottom end was fully overhauled and it was bored to a 1.9-litre and re-mapped.

The work carried out by Wheeler Dealers in 2023 at 199,000 miles was as follows:

  • New rear caliper
  • New brake pipes
  • New brake Flexi pipes
  • Rear bias valve
  • O/S/R handbrake cable
  • Original VW springs
  • New bump stops
  • New Bilstein shock absorbers
  • Original uncut parcel shelf
  • Original BBS Wheels refurbed 4 brand new Toyo tyres
  • Rear spoiler fixed
  • Original clocks fixed and set to correct mileage
  • Period Sony head unit
  • Supercharger fully overhauled by JMR VW Corrado specialists
  • Clutch master cylinder replaced by Volks Magic
  • Fully sorted before sale

The current owner has told us that he only uses the tilt function on the sunroof, as the slide function can be tricky and can get stuck on these. He has also disconnected the central locking, and locks and unlocks the doors via the key.

The Corrado looks amazing and was driven to our auction in Cheshire by the owner. It really needs to be seen to be appreciated.
