- Hall Green in Birmingham-based Velocette introduced the new MSS pre-WW2 but the war halted production until it was reintroduced in 1954
- The reintroduced model used the same frame as the MAC but was a more modern engine design
- Aimed at the touring market with optional panniers and sidecar frame lugs
- This restored later example is presented in good running order
- Restoration in 2025 included new piston, engine rebuild, mag/dyno rebuild and an oil filter conversion
