  • The 1970s Ducati Scrambler is one of the motorcycles that helped define Ducati long before the company's V-twin superbikes made it famous. While today's Scrambler line is a retro-inspired modern bike, the original was a rugged, lightweight single-cylinder machine that blended road and trail capability with unmistakable Italian style
  • The Scrambler was introduced in 1962, largely at the request of Ducati's American importer, the Berliner Motor Corporation. By the 1970s it had evolved into the 'wide-case' generation, with the 250, 350, and 450 becoming the best-known models. Production continued until the mid-1970s, when changing tastes and competition from Japanese manufacturers brought the era to a close
  • This lovely example has recently been recommissioned by Ducati London and is reported as running and riding well and comes with some paperwork (TBC)
  • The bike is supplied with a current V5C
