Estimated Price: £10,000 - £15,000
- Built in 1966 to LHD specification, this Jaguar E-Type, was originally dispatched from Jaguar Cars New York
- Imported from South Carolina, USA in 2009 and subsequently commissioned as the basis for a Jaguar E-Type Lightweight evocation, with the intention of creating a fast road and occasional track-day car. With competition being the aim, however, those plans were never realised
- Originally finished in Opalescent Maroon with Black leather upholstery and a Black soft-top, the vehicle now presents in red
- Work completed is understood to include the installation of new floorpans, sills and various Martin Robey replacement panels, together with a replacement front subframe
- Now converted to right-hand drive and fitted with a running USA-specification 4.2-litre straight-six engine, reportedly allied to a close-ratio four-speed manual gearbox
- Accompanied by a substantial quantity of parts, including a stainless steel exhaust system, refurbished radiator, partially renewed wiring loom, fuel system components, braking components, interior trim items and a set of Vredestein tyres, together with invoices and a British Motor Museum Heritage Certificate
- Offered as a stalled restoration project with significant work already completed, presenting an excellent opportunity to complete a Jaguar E-Type Lightweight-inspired build. Viewing is highly recommended
