2010 BMW Z4 Roadster

“ Owned by the same couple from new, they have meticulously looked after this car! ”
Immaculate presentation, peerless servicing and ridiculously low mileage.

Background
The second-generation Z4, the E89 in BMW parlance, entered production in 2009, taking over from the hugely successful E85.

The first BMW to be designed completely by women – Juliane Blasi was responsible for the exterior, while Nadya Arnaout designed the interior – the new Z4 trod a similar path to those that had gone before, offering both a Roadster and a Coupé in a traditional front engine, rear-drive layout.

Both manual and automatic gearboxes were offered, while engines started at a two-litre capacity with 154bhp rising to a three-litre twin-turbo with 335bhp.

The car you see here is fitted with the 2.5-litre, normally aspirated straight-six that offers the driver access to 201bhp and 184lb.ft of torque, enough thrust to see it pass 62mph in 7.3 seconds thanks to its automatic gearbox.

Production ended in 2016, at which point it was replaced by the G29. No, we don’t understand BMW’s nomenclature either…

Overview
HV60 EAX’s has been in the couple’s care since they bought it as a brand-new car 16 years ago.

Her husband’s “pride and joy”, despite covering just 11,000 miles they serviced it seven times, all at the same BMW dealer.

It’s also finished in Karmesinrot, or crimson in English, a colour that suits the Z4’s neatly integrated lines to perfection. The cabin’s trimmed in Anthracite and a recent visit from the RAC to fit a new battery resulted in him remarking that it even still smells new!

An unrepeatable opportunity to buy what must be the best-preserved Z4 of its era, you’ll swoon at how little it might cost you.

Estimate: £12,000 - £16,000
