- Launched in 2000 as a UK-only collaboration between Subaru and Prodrive, the Impreza P1, or Prodrive One, was limited to just 1,000 cars and is widely regarded as the definitive two-door GC8 Impreza having more in common with the legendary 22B than its lesser four-door Subaru Impreza WRX siblings
- Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged flat-four, producing 276bhp, driving all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission with short-throw gear lever
- All official 1,000 units produced were painted in a single colour, Sonic Blue, and featured originally Anthracite coloured (subsequently Gold) custom 17-inch OZ Racing wheels with distinctive aerodynamics by McLaren F1 designer, Peter Stevens
