Porsche 911S Targa

You’ve been thinking for a while about participating in one or more of the (tour) rallies that are organized these days. Beautiful drives—whether competitive or not—at home or abroad with like-minded people. Of course, to start with, you’ll need a fun car. Ideally, it should be a convertible, nimble, and preferably a bit fast, and it needs to be able to carry plenty of luggage. That quickly leads you to the Porsche 911 Targa, one of the most fun and highly regarded cars for this kind of thing!!

Fortunately, we can help you with this—we recently added a beautiful 1977 Targa to our collection, which has been used for many years by the same owner for these kinds of trips. It’s perfectly maintained and already equipped with a number of excellent accessories for regularity rallies and touring trips.

The Porsche 911S was delivered new in 1977 in Jacksonville, sunny Florida. Nothing is known about its early history, but the original owner’s manual is included, and starting in 1986, all maintenance work has been documented in a comprehensive file containing invoices. In 2009, the car was sold by the German dealership Turmgarage to the current owner, who has owned it for 17 years. No expense was spared; the file contains numerous invoices for work performed to keep the car as reliable as possible. From a transmission rebuild to the replacement of the entire fuel system, plus annual major maintenance, just under 40,000 euros has been invested in the car. The most recent maintenance was performed in June 2025, and virtually all work was carried out by Porsche specialist Inzinger.

All of this results in a Porsche 911S that drives exceptionally well, equipped with practical rally accessories such as a tripmaster, electronic compass, spotlights, etc., and featuring a beautiful color combination.
