Estimated Price: £10,000 - £12,000

  • Launched in 1991, the Marcos Martina was conceived as a more accessible model, based on Ford Cortina underpinnings and built until 1993, with only around 80 examples produced. To keep costs low, the Martina utilized the engine, transmission, front subframe, steering rack, and rear axle from a Ford Cortina Mk4 or Mk5
  • The wider Cortina steering rack necessitated the Martina’s distinctive arch treatment, giving it a similar profile to the Mantula
  • Originally powered by a 1.6 or 2-litre Ford Pinto however this 2014 build is powered by a 2013 2-litre Ford Zetec blacktop
  • This example dates from 1995 and was ordered by Tony Emm as a 4-Module kit. The cost of the 4 modules amounted to £8,795 with a further £4,083 in 'extras'
  • Finished from new in BMW Avus Blue with (originally) an interior in Slate Grey
  • The kit build was not commenced by Mr Emm, nor indeed its second owner, M.J. Wood, but was finally built in 2014 by our vendor’s late father using lots of new parts and a new (2013), 2-litre Ford Zetec 'blacktop'
  • Supplied with build booklets, factory manuals, order forms, DVLA and IVA correspondence and further paperwork supporting the build and registration
  • Beautifully presented, this rare, late-registered, low mileage Marcos from long-term family ownership seems a very accessible route into Marcos motoring.
