• First introduced in 1959, the Bonneville became synonymous with British motorcycling, café racer culture, and classic parallel-twin performance. More than 65 years later, the Bonneville name is still in production, making it one of the longest-lived motorcycle families in history
• The 1967 Triumph Bonneville T120 is widely regarded as one of the finest—and most desirable—of all the classic Bonnevilles. It represents the peak of the pre-oil-in-frame, 650cc era before emissions regulations and changing market pressures began to alter the design. Many enthusiasts consider the '67 the "sweet-spot" because Triumph had solved many of the handling issues found on earlier Bonnevilles and it featured a stiffer frame, revised steering geometry, improved front forks and better roadholding than the early 1960s models
• This, matching numbers, Bonnie was dispatched to Glanfield Lawrence of Bedford on the 31st January 1966 and is a 1967 model-year bike finished in Aubergine over Alaskan White and was first registered on the 3rd March 1967. It has been subject to a fabulous restoration by renowned Triumph restorer Hugh Brown of The Bike Shed who is known for paying close attention to factory-correct details and is renowned for his incredible craftsmanship
• The bike benefits from over £11,000 of restoration (fully documented) by Hugh, and is a testament to his skill as a craftsman. It was completed in 2015 and has since covered a mere 3,682 miles and remains in stunning condition
• Aided by the electronic ignition system, it starts on the first or second kick and quickly settles down to an even idle. It benefits from a belt drive conversion (original chain supplied) along with a conversion to a 12 volt lighting system with LED lights fitted. Since the restoration, all servicing work has been undertaken by Hugh to a high standard
• It's accompanied by its current V5/C (correctly classed as Historic), a large folder documenting all of the work done by Hugh and every cost involved, a Certificate of Authenticity from Hugh, original Triumph manuals, old MOTs, invoices, and several magazine articles
• It's also supplied with a flight case containing a specially prepared, year-specific tool-kit and there are some additional spares
