Closely linked with the McLaren F1 from its inception, the McLaren P1 is only the second entry in the marque's aptly named Ultimate Series following the legendary 386 km/h supercar. Its name is both an homage to the innovative Formula One race-winning tech it contains as well as Project 1, the initial project name for the F1 road car. It was conceived as the spiritual successor to the legendary F1 and was given the seemingly impossible task of following in its footsteps. Yet, the P1 forged its own path of innovation: as the first McLaren and one of the first supercars to incorporate hybrid technology into its performance lexicon.

Its 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 -derived from the MP4-12C and potent enough at 737 PS -was now assisted by a 179 PS electric motor for a combined rating of 916 PS and 900 Nm of torque through the P1's seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. While perfectly content to cruise for up to 11 kilometers solely on electric power, the P1's Hybrid Drive Assembly (HDA) truly shone when working in tandem with the combustion engine. The Instant Power Assist System lifted from Formula One cars added power in the millisecond-long gaps when the V8 wasn't working at its fullest, providing an unbroken storm of power everywhere in the rev range and even between gear changes.

The P1 could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and to a top speed of 350 km/h which was purposefully limited by McLaren, trading sheer top speed for faster cornering speeds and uncompromised track driving. Further F1-derived technologies include a KERS energy recovery system and Drag Reduction System that actuated the rear wing, both accessible at the push of a button on the P1's steering wheel. Even the steering wheel's grips were modelled after how McLaren F1's championship-winning drivers grasped the wheel of their racecars.

The P1's carbon monocoque MonoCell chassis, an enhanced version of the one introduced on the 12C, helped the car weigh just 1,395 kilograms. It generated 600 kilograms of downforce at 257 km/h, and reliably came to a halt thanks to a special silica-carbide coating on its carbon ceramic brakes. Mid-engined and rear-wheel drive, the P1 was concocted with one purpose: to be the greatest driver's car on both road and track. Developed on and built to conquer the Nürburgring, the P1 reportedly set a lap time under seven minutes on the Nordschleife circuit, although the actual time remains classified.

Stalwart McLaren designer Frank Stephenson penned the P1's striking silhouette, taking inspiration from a sail fish he saw while on holiday. Carefully crafted to optimize airflow around its body, the P1's elegant lines and curves proved that form and function could go hand in hand.

The P1 concept was revealed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and its production version followed one year later at Geneva-to extensive critical acclaim. McLaren built just 375 examples of the P1, all of which were meticulously hand-assembled by a team of 82 specialists in Woking and each taking 17 days to complete. McLaren's new halo car built on the 12C and popularized the platform on which all the marque's subsequent models would be styled and developed. It remains one of the most significant hypercars of the modern era, as one of the pioneers of hybridization which is now becoming standard in supercars; a path that McLaren continues to forge today with its latest supercars.

Out of the 375 examples produced, this 2015 McLaren P1 is one of only two cars delivered new to Belgium. The P1's original sales invoice reveals an extraordinary list of special options, highlighted by its McLaren Special Operations (MSO) Storm Grey finish. This is complemented by a medley of Visual Carbon Fiber and Gloss Carbon Fiber adorning its aerodynamic elements due in large part to the desirable Stealth Pack, while its Silver-painted Lightweight wheels provide a balanced contrast. The P1's interior is trimmed in Carbon Black Alcantara that extends from its Carbon Fiber Racing Seats to its steering wheel, with Carbon Black stitching further emphasizing the car's famous racing-inspired cockpit. In total, this example's thoughtful options list approaches €50.000.

Finished on 24 April 2015, P1 number 352 was subsequently delivered to its sole owner located in Brussels. Its included stamped service booklet indicates meticulous maintenance from new exclusively at McLaren Brussels, with its fluids replaced on a regular basis. The P1 was most recently serviced in July 2026. During this visit, the state of the P1's high voltage battery was inspected and was revealed to remain at 92 percent-an exemplary capacity for a battery over 10 years old.

After more than a decade of meticulous single ownership, this exceptionally-specified 2015 McLaren P1 is now offered with just 293 kilometers at cataloging. Exercised regularly over short distances, this example received its very suitable Belgian registration plate ''P1'' since the day of its delivery until now. It is noteworthy the car has never seen a drop of rain in its entire life and the owner even confirmed he has never conventionally washed the car with water-deliberately-as this P1 was only ever professionally detailed. It is accompanied by a bevy of exclusive P1 delivery items and documentation, which includes its owner's handbook in box, two scale models, letter from McLaren Chief Executive Officer Mike Flewitt, and two keys in a carbon fiber box. The P1 also features a Belgian technical inspection certificate valid until June 2027. In absolute 'as new' condition, the car is exactly how it left the factory over 10 years ago, even sitting on its original factory tires.

Among the celebrated “Holy Trinity” of 2010s hybrid hypercars, the McLaren P1 is both the rarest and most uncompromising. Thoughtfully specified in a restrained and sophisticated color combination, this example allows the P1's striking silhouette to command attention without distraction. It is further preserved with collector mileage, fastidious maintenance, and accompanied by an exceptional collection of original delivery items and documentation from new that position it as a superlative offering for any world-class collection of era-defining hypercars.
