We are delighted to offer what must be one of the most impressive W221 S-Class Mercedes we have seen, this 2006 S600 finished in the superb combination of Andradite Green Metallic with Exclusive Sahara Beige leather.
According to the vendor, this is believed to be the only S600L in the UK supplied in this exact colour combination, and when you see it in person it really does look special. The deep green metallic changes considerably depending on the light and works beautifully with the Sahara Beige interior. It's a much more interesting combination than the usual black or silver normally associated with these.
Then there's what sits under the bonnet. This isn't simply a highly specified S-Class, it's the S600L, powered by Mercedes' mighty 5.5-litre M275 twin-turbocharged V12.
The original owner certainly didn't hold back when ordering it either. Included within the history file is the original purchase invoice showing a price of £108,490, an enormous amount of money in 2006 and a good indication of just how special the S600 was when new.
Specification is equally impressive, including the panoramic glass sunroof, high-spec entertainment system, reversing camera and a long list of the luxury equipment you would expect to find in Mercedes' flagship model. The Exclusive Sahara Beige leather remains in lovely condition and combined with the wood trim and huge specification; the interior still feels every bit the £100,000-plus it was when it left the showroom.
Now showing 79,200 miles, the Benz presents beautifully throughout, and the condition really does speak for itself. The Andradite Green bodywork has a lovely depth to it, the interior has been equally well preserved, and it has clearly been cherished rather than simply used as an everyday S-Class.
There is also a very good history file containing the original purchase invoice, service invoices, previous MOT certificates, book pack and spare keys. The cherished registration ‘S600MBX’ is also included and is a brilliant finishing touch.
This is one of those examples that is difficult to fully appreciate from the specification sheet alone. The colour combination, condition, history and original six-figure purchase price make it stand out before you even get to the fact that there's a twin-turbocharged V12 under the bonnet.
A genuinely special example of Mercedes-Benz's flagship S600 and one that looks every bit as good in the metal as it does in the photographs.
