This very bright Hillman Imp was registered in the UK on 19th January 1973.

It has been in the current keeper’s hands since 2020, during which time this lovely Imp Super has undergone extensive reconditioning carried out by the current owner, including mechanical and cosmetic work to the highest standard.

Unmarked paintwork, blemish free interior and what appear to be sound mechanicals will make this little Hillman a stand-out proposition for someone looking to start or add to their classic collection.

An accompanying Rootes Archive Centre Trust certificate adds additional generic information about the Hillman Imp and more detailed info about our example here including an estimated cost new of £634.00 plus £133.63 UK tax. Aargh, the good old days!

Between 1997 and 2015, this particular Imp was on display in the Stondon Motor Museum in Henlow and there are pictures of it in situ on the internet in the now sadly closed museum.

Although exempt on age, a current MOT that is valid until June 2027 will give an extra layer of reassurance to a potential buyer.

If you’re looking for a turn-key British classic to own, use and enjoy, then we might just have the one for you here.
