1957 BSA Bantam Major D3
Price on request

The BSA Bantam is a motorcycle that was produced by the Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) from 1948 until 1971. Exact production figures are unknown, but it was thought between 350,000 and 500,000 units were manufactured.

This BSA Bantam Major was originally registered on 26th August 1957 in Eastbourne. The D3 was a development of the original 125cc Bantam, with the two-stroke engine increased to 148cc, now producing 5.3 bhp. The matching engine number of BD3B27296 confirms this to be a motorcycle with battery electrics. The V5 document shows only one previous keeper on this handsome machine. The condition appears to be largely original with the fuel tank still showing the colourful cockerel. A handsome machine that would look great on the road or as office art. Consigned by Stewart Banks.
