  • Comes from long term ownership
  • Great ‘944’ number plate
  • Lots of history
  • A very rare find

We love a Porsche at Manor Park and every now and again one turns up that really gets our attention. This is one of those! This is a 944 S2 Coupe from 1991 finished in white with black leather, which is exactly how it left the dealer who sold it on 10/6/1991. The dealer was Isaac Agnew of Londonderry, and the fist owner was a Mrs Purdy. The HPi tells us that it has only had four owners in total, which isn’t surprising as our vendor has had it since 2002, forming part of his private collection. It’s a rare thing to find a 944 with this history, low ownership, in this condition and with this specification, hence we are quite taken with it.

The Porsche has a great history comprising of; a service book complete with 11 stamps, mostly from the supplying Porsche dealer; a large selection of receipts and bills; a large collection of previous MOTs, which sit nicely with the current one valid until July 2027; the full book pack including all the manuals and instructions that you get from Porsche; some correspondence from Porsche; and a V5, Irish logbook and a clear HPi. All the things you want to see with your classic that you often don’t get, showing how good this example is. It’s compete and original, and comes with a great registration ‘BDZ 944’, sunroof cover, original first aid kit, the all-important Bridge spoiler on the boot and even the original Porsche floor mats.

The vendor has kindly provided the following information:

“1991 Porsche 944 S2 - last of the Porsche 944s and is therefore the 'bridge spoiler' edition (Porsche enthusiasts will know!)
3.0 16V engine developing around 211 bhp
Excellent totally original condition, always dry stored and looked after properly
Sills are all original, never welded. Bodywork, interior, engine, gearbox all excellent. Original paint code sticker in place from factory on rear boot behind jack (see photo) = not hit from behind
Just had a service and 2 new front Hankook Ventus tyres fitted. Rears are the correct Continental N 9Porsche) rated tyres
Just gone through MOT with no problem and no advisories
I have owned since 2002, and I know the previous owner from Porsche circles. Car is known within Porsche Club GB
Limited usage in my nearly 25 years of ownership and hence low 92,400 miles currently
The 2nd classic car I bought (1st was Ford Capri 2.8i!) in 2002 after looking for many months in England and NI for the best example
