INTRODUCTION: Wanna be the boss? This is the way to do it without putting in countless hours of work. We have a #s matching car with spotless original metal and it's documented by a Marti report too. It is a one family (two owner) car that was pulled from a basement where it had been hibernating for 30 years, then it received a detailed three year nut & bolt restoration. Remarkably, it retains its original #s-matching engine, 4-speed trans, and rear end as well. “People ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader leads, and the boss drives” (Theodore Roosevelt). Now is your time to get behind the wheel!

EXTERIOR: Eye appeal! The Grabber Blue paint commands attention and in my opinion is one of the most attractive colors of the muscle car era. The factory correct color has been reapplied with great attention to detail then polished to a smooth and reflective finish. Claimed by the restorer to have its original metal. Looking down the side of the laser straight original steel body is satisfying with all the smooth contours and crisp lines. The panels were painstakingly aligned with nice consistent gaps that are well above average. The door is open and close easily with minimal effort. The front and rear spoilers plus window louvers greatly enhance the profile. The front grille looks like new and it has Ford branded headlights too. All the glass is nice and clear with new rubber seals and fuzzy strips also. The chrome and polished pieces have all been refinished, presenting beautifully with a phenomenal shine. The factory style Boss 302 reflective striping compliments the interior perfectly and looks tough too. It's sitting on a nice set of 15” Magnum 500 Wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR: Fresh and fantastic! Both front and back seats are looking good, plus they are equipped with seat belts.. The door panels, headliner, and carpeting have also been replaced with good quality components. It has factory gauges including an optional tachometer. Sitting proudly front and center is a Hurst 4 speed manual shifter attached to the numbers matching transmission. The rear package shelf is in great shape with two aftermarket speakers neatly installed.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Proper presentation! The rebuilt numbers matching 302 Boss is a high revving legendary engine. This one appears fresh and clean down to the new nuts and bolts. The power plant is nicely dressed with the correct air cleaner and valve covers. Pristine Ford Blue paint adorns the engine. All the hoses and belts have been replaced. The battery is properly secured plus the horns are hooked up. The radiator looks to be rebuilt or replaced and it's equipped with power disc brakes too. Under the hood, fender Wells, and firewall are all very neatly painted satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Refinished! Under the trunk lid and inside the jamb have been neatly repainted and the weatherstrip was replaced. Inside the trunk has a vinyl mat. Under the mat is a new gas tank and surrounding it is all clean original steel that is neatly painted satin black.

UNDERSIDE: Clean as a whistle! It is nut and bolt restored but even more impressive, it retains all original rust free metal. A very clean car before the restoration, the floors have merely been freshened with a light dusting of black paint. The Boss 302 came standard with Competition Suspension, it included heavy duty springs, heavy duty shocks and larger stabilizer bars both front and rear. The staggered rear shocks were designed to control wheel hop. The entire suspension on this car has been rebuilt and detailed. It has been upgraded with gas shocks too.

The brake system was totally restored including power disc brakes up front and drums out back. All the lines and hoses were replaced plus the emergency brake is functional. It has a dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers, and turned down tailpipes. The fuel system has also been replaced, including a new fuel tank. Looking up at the engine everything is spotless and detailed in correct Ford blue. It has been upgraded with a high torque starter. The original Ford Toploader 4 speed manual transmission was completely rebuilt and retains its correct identification tag, casting codes, and matching partial VIN as well. In back is the original Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears, which is properly dated and has been rebuilt. Overall, the underside is exceptionally clean!
