Here we have a very nice, rare and presentable example of the third incarnation of the ever-popular Pininfarina designed Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 manual. This example, finished in Bianco white with a Nero interior and black cloth hood, was first registered on 4/8/1988 and was imported into the UK from Spain in 2022. This goes some way to explain it’s nice, clean and tidy appearance; having lived a nice life in the sun has preserved this example into what you see today. Not many of these special Alfas get to look this good at 38 years old, but we think this one looks great.
The Spider benefits from some very nice features, which add to the romance of the Italian look, such as a rear spoiler, chrome boot rack, Nardi wooden steering wheel, wooden gear stick knob and handbrake lever, and a delightful set of 16 spoke 15” alloy wheels shod with a set of new tyres in c.2023. The paintwork stands up well and is matched with a very nice interior and what looks like recent new cloth hood and carpets. It even comes with the original tonneau cover and a nice Alpine radio / CD player. A very nice example with a great specification, and an even better look to it.
This example needs to be seen firsthand to appreciate its appearance and quality. Alfa Romeos are becoming very rare now, especially in this condition. This is one to enjoy and be seen in; in fact, it would be a very cool example to own. As any Italian cars do, this will probably increase in value if you keep it in this condition, as there are not many out there like this.
