Completed in January 1988, this exceptionally specified Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe is one of the rare few that can boast both a Paint to Sample exterior finish and a Leather to Sample interior. Finished in Satin Black Metallic (L999) over a Silver Grey and Black leather interior (98), this Turbo features an impressive four Zusatzausstattung orders better known as Z-Orders. Its Porsche France-issued Certificat d'Authenticité records both the paint and leather interior choices, along with its Black carpeting and Black seat piping fitted by Porsche's Sonderwunsch department. Additional catalog options fitted to this German-market example at the time of ordering include heated front seats, a stronger battery, a limited-slip differential, yellow Bosch fog lights, central locking, and an alarm.

Due to the highly individualized nature of the specification, factory delivery in Stuttgart was a natural choice. Interestingly, the digital build sheet records the completion of the car on January 29th, while the original service book records the delivery date of February 11th. The interval likely reflects the time spent in the Special Wishes Department.

The Turbo's exceptional accompanying file records its history from day one, with servicing at Porsche Munich and later by Porsche Montpellier under original ownership. In 2003, the Sonderwunsch Turbo was acquired by its second owner with a French carte grise issued and only 64,010 kilometers recorded. After three years in that owner's care, it was acquired by the most recent private owner in July 2006 with 78,740 kilometers recorded.

In recent years, maintenance for the Turbo has been performed by the most recent private owner prior to a restoration conducted by 2B Autosport of La Ravoire, France, a firm noted for its top-level track preparation and Porsche expertise. The full restoration comprised bodywork, brakes, fresh tires, a new clutch, and a major service to the matching-numbers turbocharged flat-six. The result was, according to the consigning specialist, one of the nicest examples they have seen in some time.

At the time of consignment, the Turbo is offered with 80,782 kilometers, its original service book, its certificate, a digital build sheet, and service and restoration records. It is also fitted with a highly desirable three-spoke factory Special Wishes Italvolanti steering wheel.
