- The Bonneville was Triumph's flagship sporting twin and by 1968 it had evolved into a 649cc OHV parallel twin, with unit construction and a 4-speed gearbox.
- 1968 upgrades include an 8-inch twin-leading-shoe front brake, premium Hepolite high-compression pistons with reinforced crowns, modified outer valve springs, an improved oil delivery system to the camshafts, uprated frame, revised fork internals and Amal Concentric carburettors
- This fabulous example was fully restored with an engine rebuild in 2005/6 at 20,000 miles and has covered less than 9,000 miles since
- Finished in Hi-Fi Scarlet over Silver Sheen, it presents beautifully and remains in excellent order
