- The Jawa Economy is an interesting snapshot of 1980s Czechoslovak engineering and, although it looks quite basic, it wasn't just an old design thrown together but featured electronic ignition, an automatic clutch, proper suspension, indicators, brake lights, horn and large wheels
- Back in 1991, our vendor purchased 4 brand-new Jawa mopeds, as he had just bought the first tranche of 'H' prefix cherished registration numbers. At the time, they had to be assigned to a vehicle, whereas now they can be put onto retention. He therefore bought the mopeds to assign the numbers
- One was used on the road, whereas the remaining three remained in their original boxes up until now and this example is one of the brand-new 'boxed' bikes
- They have all just been assembled and the three boxed examples have been put together and run for the first time
- All four have been MOT'd and the registration numbers are being put onto retention for our vendor (please note that at the time of sale all bikes will be registered with a UK age-related registration number and not the ones shown)
- A unique opportunity to purchase a 'new' Jawa from the 1990s, with under 10 miles, following recommissioning test mileage
