Here we have a nice example of the ever-desirable VW Beetle finished in a lovely shade of metallic blue with an almost perfect interior. It is finished off with a rear spoiler of the time and a set of slightly bigger steel wheels with the chrome caps. The Beetle has not been modded, just a little touch possibly from the 1970s. It has been owned by the same family from new between father and son, the son apparently owning it twice, which is all contained in the V5 and HPi. It comes with its original service book, which tells us it was supplied new by Headway Motors Ltd. in Surrey. The service book is in excellent condition and contains 11 stamps, and is accompanied by its original owner’s manual, a host of old MOTs and tax discs, and even spare keys.

To come across a Beetle in this nice original condition is a bit of a find. We can’t say that it is original paint, we are sure that it has had some paint in its life, but it is in the original colour and very nice in every way. The prices of these can vary somewhat, but one like this is a bit special. But don’t take our word for it, take a closer look yourself, we think you will get a very pleasant surprise. Nice miles, single family ownership, nice condition - as they say, find another one!
