- These models were the first three-cylinder machines that MV Agusta had manufactured since the famous GP racers of the 1970s
- The 675cc, limited-edition (200) 'Serie Oro' (Gold Series) was introduced before full production began in 2011 and all were pre-sold
- To justify the price, the F3 Serie Oro was fitted with Brembo front callipers, Marzocchi forks and a Sachs rear shock
