GENERAL INFORMATION

This 1980 Porsche 911 3.0 SC Targa is finished in Metallic Red, combined with a beige leather interior and the distinctive black Targa roof.

The car has been extensively restored in the past, undergoing a thorough cosmetic and technical overhaul. During the restoration, the Porsche was completely disassembled and subsequently rebuilt.

Not only were the bodywork and paintwork addressed, but the mechanics and interior were also included. An extensive photo report of the restoration is available, supplemented by a file containing invoices and documentation.

It is important to mention that the car sustained damage to the front end in the past. This damage was repaired at the time, and the car was subsequently restored. The quality of that earlier repair is not entirely at the level we would expect from an absolutely top-restored example. This has been taken into account in our assessment and pricing of the car.

TECHNICAL & MECHANICAL CONDITION

The air-cooled 3.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine has been completely overhauled. The manual gearbox has also been overhauled and rebuilt.

Extensive technical work was carried out during the restoration. The engine and gearbox were overhauled internally and fitted with new parts where necessary. The braking system, suspension, and various other technical components were also included.

The accompanying file documents, among other things, parts and work performed on the engine, gearbox, brakes, and suspension.

EXTERIOR & BODYWORK

During the restoration, the bodywork was completely overhauled and repainted in Red Metallic. This color complements the classic lines of the 911 Targa beautifully and forms a fine combination with the beige interior.

In addition, great attention was paid to the finish during the rebuild. For instance, various rubbers, seals, and parts of the lighting have been replaced. The car sits on classic Fuchs wheels and is equipped with the well-known black Targa roof. The overall presentation is neat and well-maintained.

INTERIOR

The interior was also completely renewed during the restoration. The seats, rear bench, and other interior trim have been reupholstered in beige leather. The interior is in neat and well-maintained condition and forms a beautiful combination with the Red Metallic bodywork.

DOCUMENTATION

An extensive photo report of the restoration is available, in which the work is documented step by step. In addition, the car comes with a comprehensive file containing invoices and documentation. This provides a clear insight into which work and parts were carried out and renewed during the restoration.
