RMB01 — An Extraordinary Collaboration

Born from the shared pursuit of excellence, the RMB01 is the result of an unprecedented collaboration between Richard Mille and Brough Superior. Conceived as a pure track-focused machine, it transcends the idea of a motorcycle to become a work of kinetic art — engineered, designed, and finished to the uncompromising standards of fine watchmaking.

Inspired by the raw spirit of early 20th-century Boardtrack racers, the RMB01 strips performance back to its essence. Its uncluttered architecture, minimalist seat, and taut, muscular silhouette evoke the radical purity of the first racing motorcycles, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Extensive skeletonisation and a backbone-suspended design accentuate both lightness and visual tension, giving the machine a dynamic, feline presence.

At its heart lies a sculptural 997cc twin-cylinder engine, machined from solid blocks of high-quality aluminium and meticulously hollowed to leave only what is essential. Delivering 130 bhp with exceptional flexibility, its power is fully exploitable on track, enhanced by aerodynamic appendages that provide stability and control at speed.

The influence of Richard Mille watchmaking is evident throughout: advanced materials such as aluminium alloys, titanium, and carbon; complex mechanical architectures inspired by gear trains and tourbillon calibres; and an uncompromising approach to hand-finishing down to the smallest detail. The carbon chassis functions as a self-supporting exoskeleton, holding the mechanical elements together with the same structural logic found in a high-performance timepiece.

Entirely handcrafted in France, the RMB01 is produced in a strictly limited edition of 150 individually numbered motorcycles. Available from the end of 2025 in three distinctive finishes — Nocturnal Sapphire, Selene, and Pearl of Speed, it is an object of performance, precision, and rarity.
