First registered in the UK on 31st March 1981 this fine and original Ducati Darmah SD is among the last of the models built as production ended in 1982.
Introduced in 1977 is was a mix of of 900SS and 860GTL parts with the most important part being the 900’s bevel drive ‘desmo’ engine. It was also the first Ducati to feature Bosch ignition and Japanese Nippon Denso instruments and switchgear with the added bonus of an electric starter.
Showing 19,400 miles it has been part of a small private collection since 2015 and used sparingly as it only had aprox 18,000 miles at that time, in fact the MoT history goes back to 2011 when it was stated as having just 14,397 on the clock.
A fine very original bike it has been well looked after and comes with a good history file that show much maintenance over the years including a partial restoration in 2011. More recently the bike has been kept in the dry climate of southern France where the last owner was living.
It remains in good running order and generally good overall condition. It is supplied with the current UK V5C logbook, old MoT’s and various invoices for service parts.
