The 1929 Packard 6th Series Deluxe Eights were among the most attractive and imposing of the Classic Era Packards, with long bonnets, sweeping wings, and large oval headlights. The powerful straight-eight engine displaced 385 cubic inches and was rated at 105 horsepower at 3,200 rpm.
The Packard offered here is an older restored example of the 375 Sedan-Limousine body style. Built on the 145.5-inch wheelbase 645 chassis, it is finished in Green and black. It is fitted with wire wheels, black wall tyres, a single rear jump seat and storage compartment and dual side mounts.
The early history is not known but this car was owned by a Bob Gregg of Santa Ynez, CA before joining a collection here in the San Francisco Bay Aera in 2006. The car won a 3rd in Class at the 2007 Palo Alto Concours d'Elegance at Stanford University.
